Confronting Evil

The greatest threat to America is evil. Evil hates truth and that which is good. Americans should confront evil, not turn a blind eye to evil.

David confronted Goliath; and all of the Old Testament prophets confronted those who disobeyed the Lord. They courageously spoke up; and they spoke the truth. You see this over and over again when you read the books of Isaiah, Jeremiah, and the Minor Prophets. As a result, the prophets were prosecuted. Charlie Kirk was assassinated by those who hate truth and everything America stands for.

Jesus Christ did not turn a blind eye to evil and sin. Quite the contrary, he spoke up and confronted those who opposed the Word of God.

Matthew 21:12-13 (NLT): Jesus entered the Temple and began to drive out all the people buying and selling animals for sacrifice. He knocked over the tables of the money changers and the chairs of those selling doves. He said to them, "The Scriptures declare, 'My Temple will be called a house of prayer,' but you have turned it into a den of thieves!"

John 8:43-44 (NLT): Why can't you understand what I am saying? It is because you cannot even hear me! For you are the children of your father the devil, and you love to do the evil things he does. He was a murderer from the beginning. He has always hated the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, it is consistent with his character; for he is a liar and the father of lies.

Too many think that we should be passive and turn a blind eye to those who persistently slander and bear false witness. The truth is, we should confront evil. We have a country that is being destroyed by those who hate America and freedom of speech. We must take a stand against this evil and corruption if we are going to save our country.
